Offer Letters

The Summer Term Office has estasblished three distinct offer letter templates that must be used to hire instructors. These letters serve as a legal contract between the University and the individual faculty member hired to teach. Please ensure all letters contain all the information asked for in the template.

 

Please use the following guidelines:

Use the correct offer letter based on the instructor's classification, i.e. GTA.

Ensure all offer letters contain the instructor's signature before submission. Electronic signatures are not acceptable.

Adhere to deadlines. Late letters will be processed for a later pay period based on the date received.

When submitting numerous letters for the same course (i.e. two or more instructors) please specify whether the instructor is one of the instructors of record or replacing another.
